reimagine the rest
art and creative economy
Our artists and creatives that were left behind by the industry deserve better. Advocating for state and federal dollars to boost our creative and artistic economy will help revive our city as the ingenious hub it's known for!
I grew up in this film town and it breaks my heart to see its current state. I will be advocating for $100 Million from the state in tax credits specifically for small budget productions (film, theater, tv) in Los Angeles. This will keep our creatives working and boost our local economy like never before.
economic development
Balancing the neighborhood and global appeals of CD13, our economy should be robust and attractive.
Clean and safe elements will attract business and patrons so we must amplify those services in commercial corridors.
- Having an economic development director in the office that can expedite permits for new businesses and help eliminate redundancies in the city's process
- empty storefront activation program which will place non-profits, community organizations, and small businesses
LA River
Let's pick up where we left off and get back to reimagining the LA River.
community
Building community and strengthening community are my passion and getting people together to celebrate is a lovely thing that brings pride and purpose to those involved.
city infrastructure
We have to reinvest in our infrastructure immediately. From the streetlights to the sidewalks, potholes and storm drains, we must prioritize the basics so we can continue to build an incredible Los Angeles. Looking at EIFD and other funding models. I know how to fight for and secure funding so I know our City can too!
empty storefronts
work with property owners and businesses and communtiy organizations to utilize the abundance of empty ground-level spaces.
