I built a food rescue warehouse (Hollywood Food Coaltion's Community Exchange) that redistributed 10 million pounds of food back into the Hollywood community, It has Hollywood Harvest, we modeled it after working with Glen Curado (World Harvest) and we gave the werehouse to Hollywood Food Coalition where it redistributed all that food. This can be recreated in every neighborhood of district 13 to help supply groceries for the residents that week.
universal childcare
With the City acting as conduit, we can work with property owners and their empty spaces as well as city-owned spaces to program them with commpunity partners to provide childcare.
public transit free 'til 18
We are investing billions in a new public transit network. The only way to get future Angelenos out of their cars is to get them into public transit early. We can start with DASH and push towards METRO and make sure the future is more transit reliant.
broken window policy
if your car gets broken into and you file a police report, we'll pay for the repair!
increase housing
As seen in Austin TX and other cities, an increase in housing supply stabilizes and lowers rent costs.
taxes as last resort
I hate taxes and fee increases so I will make sure we do all we can to spend the City's and grant money before we spend any more of yours!
